Past Lives- A Few Examples
These are actual cases from my clients. They’ve given me permission to share, but I’ve changed their names for privacy reasons.
Juliana and Clare (1860′s-1870′s Missouri)
Juliana’s daughter was off to college. Normally they share a close relationship, but Juliana had not been adjusting well to her leaving. In fact, she was crying, not sleeping, calling her daughter daily. She was filled with anxiety that she’s never going to see her again, even though she was only three hours away, at a private college in a smaller city than the one she grew up in. Juliana’s daughter, Clare, felt for her mom, but could not figure out why her normally confident and positive mom had grown so clingy.
I took a look at her past life. It focused first on the shoe of a little girl, who was standing on a rafter of a half-built bridge, overlooking a swift river. It was 1860′s Missouri. The mother carefully rushes towards the daughter, and coaxes her back to safety.
Years pass, the daughter marries and moves to Kansas City in the 1870′s. She writes several letters to her mother. Then her mother doesn’t hear from her. After several months, the mother goes to Kansas City, to the hotel where she was staying. She finds the son-in-law, who says that the daughter went out for work one morning and never came back. He thought she might have tried to go home, as they weren’t getting along so well.
The daughter is never found. The mother goes home. She lives out her life, but never gets over this loss. She knows that her daughter is dead, but she doesn’t know how or where she died.
After viewing this past life, I obtained permission to view the daughter’s life from Clare.
The daughter had been on her way back home. She missed her mother and her husband was abusive. She didn’t have enough money to get all the way home. She rode a wagon part of the way there, and then she started walking. She had to cross a river. Her skirts were very heavy. She lost her footing and was overcome by the current. She drowned.
After hearing about these past lives, together, Juliana was able to understand that her fear and worry was from the previous life, when her daughter did mysteriously disappear. Just by hearing the story, she was able to experience an energetic shift that enabled her to not worry so much about Clare at school. She still worries, but only about as much as any mother worries about her daughter away from home.
Jeremy (Anatolia 350 B.C., Russia 1905)
Jeremy volunteers often for human rights causes. He is actively involved in Amnesty International, and donates money to several organizations that champion freedom. Jeremy wanted to know why he was attracted to such causes and whether he should invest further in this life’s work.
I was shown two past lives with Jeremy.
Anatolia
One was very old, one of the oldest I’d ever seen. It was in Anatolia (now Turkey), hundreds of years before the common era. He was part of a nomadic tribe. One of the men in his tribe stole from another man in the tribe. He was caught and forced to leave the tribe. Unfortunately, his family was also forced to leave. It was in the winter. Jeremy saw the man’s wife and several small children leave, going out to certain death. This made Jeremy extremely sad. It seemed so unfair that his family would be punished for the acts of the father.
St. Petersburg, Russia
The second life showed Jeremy as a young, Jewish man in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1905. He is worried about the strikes that are occurring in his city. It’s not really his fight, as he is a baker. Nevertheless, he chooses to march for reform. There is a big party in the streets as they hear that Tsar Nicholas II has signed a manifesto. I see people waving signs and cheering. Jeremy is part of this crowd.
Then I see Jeremy in his bed. He wakes up, smelling smoke. Somebody has lit his bakery on fire. He and his wife rush out of the building. The bakery burns down, with only the brick ovens escaping harm.
The people of his community come together and raise the money for him to build a new bakery. He is surprised and thrilled by this, though he is afraid that his bakery will burn down again. He lives out his life looking over his shoulder, but nothing bad happens to his family after that.
These themes of strife, loss and community, of people’s rights, it’s no wonder that he spends so much time today working for the human rights of others.
