Using your 2010 Color to Play with your Intuition
Did you get your 2010 color yet?
Cool. Let’s use it!
I feel that this is the year that we all start working even more with our intuition. We start making our energetic body (another term for our spirit) a more conscious part of our daily lives.
How to Daily-ize your Spirit!
Whether your color for 2010 is about creativity or expansion or love or communication or divine interaction or power or something else, you can use your intuition to explore this subject matter.
Your color can help get you there.
Your color can be a reminder.
Every time I see my color, I may think, “What creative thing should I try today?”
I am going to buy or make a piece of artwork that’s orange, that reminds me to follow my creative urges.
I’ve been playing with Etsy.com’s color tool, which features handmade products that match a specific color. I’m looking for just the right orange thing. I haven’t found it yet.
Kind of like this creamer:

Your color can be something to meditate on.
Try getting a candle in your color, and lighting it and watching the flame. Clear your mind and go deep within.

Your color can be an expression.
Buy a piece of jewelry or clothing with that color and wear it when you’re out and about.

I do this when I’m story-telling. I try to wear aqua or teal or turquoise. This helps me speak clearly and comfortably (or, at least it feels that way).
Your color can even be a meal.
(for most colors, that is. Sorry blue. Well, you could add blue food coloring to your mashed potatoes, that might be cool).

I’m going to share my recipe for roasted sweet potatoes later this week.
Play.
Find ways to play with your color, and then you’ll feel your intuition start to take off. The chakra that relates to your color can change and improve with even a little bit of thought and attention.
Let us know how you’re playing with your color and I’ll report back about my color too!
