Chakralicious: Creativity Observations

I love the group of ladies who are bringing forth their Chakraliciousness in my Tuesday Night Class!

We talked, at length, about the energetic body. We felt our chakras.  We got all yahoo with the woo.

And then, my favorite moment of the class: when we tried to define the word: Creativity.

I started with Creativity: The Ability to Bring Something into Existence.

We talked about Otto Rank, whose definition of an artist was One Who Wants to Leave a Gift.

And of course, the great Matthew Fox, who said, The Spirit’s Work is to Awaken All Things.

From that: Our Creative Work is to Awaken All Things Within Us”.

And then…

Leah said, Creativity is Fitting Things Together.

and Karol said, Creativity is the Space Where My Love Comes Through.

and somebody else said something profound that I have now forgotten, damn.

We talked about how all creativity is co-creation, in response to, in appreciation of, in a place of time and space.

Brilliant.

I’m thinking a lot about creativity this morning, especially fitting together moments of love through creativity. It’s a Chakralicious Mash-up and it don’t get better than that.

LOVE YOU!
