You could have been anybody. You could have been female or male. You could have been from any culture. There is a fluidity to our lives.  Things like gender and culture aren’t really that important to our life lessons.
What’s more important are our themes. What’s more important are the things that we’re here to learn about.

Oh, I had a bad dream this morning.  I dreamed I was back in corporate America.  I dreamed that my salary fell from $60 an hour to $3.52 an hour.  In my dream, I was freaking out.

My boss, Troy, said that the company was just in really bad shape, and that’s all they could afford to pay me.
And, in my dream, I felt like I had to stay.
