Sugar Hill Designs is a quilt and accessories pattern company located in Minnesota. The client wanted something that was homey, and somewhat representational of Minnesota, itself.

I found a photograph of a white farmhouse, and another photo of a Sitka spruce. I combined them, then added transparent layers in purple and blue to seem like a winter's night in Minnesota.The gaussian blur made it seem like snow was falling.

Then, I added golds and orange to the windows, to convey warmth. The font is quirky and sweet.
